Manish Marwah is a senior research scientist at Hewlett Packard Labs. His main research interests are in the broad areas of data science and applied machine learning, especially in the context of cyber-physical systems. He has initiated and led research on designing data mining methods for sustainability and energy management of smart buildings and data centers. Recently, he has been working on large-scale analytics and its applications to IoT and security domains. His research has led to over 60 refereed papers, several of which have won awards, including at AAAI, KDD, and IGCC. He has twice co-organized the workshop - Data Mining for Sustainability (SustKDD) at KDD. He has been granted 39 patents (with several pending). Manish received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
