Manish Marwah is a principal applied researcher and data scientist with 15+ years building innovative ML/AI solutions across two main domains: cybersecurity and cyber-physical systems (data centers, smart buildings). Manish initiates and leads research projects, builds the initial proof-of-concept, and partners with software development to ship them into products. His work has led to 75+ peer-reviewed papers (5,900+ citations, h-index 36), several of which have won awards, including at AAAI, KDD, and IGCC. He holds 64 granted US patents (several pending). In 2025, Manish received OpenText's Distinguished Engineer Award for excellence in innovation, one of five given company-wide. He particularly enjoys starting projects from scratch and seeing them through to customers. Manish received a Ph.D. and M.S., both in Computer Science, from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
